Journey Messages
Create email templates to maintain consistent messaging across projects and deal
Journey Messages allow you to configure automated communication that is sent to customers during key stages of a deal or project. These messages help ensure consistent communication and keep customers informed throughout their journey.
Journey Messages are available for both Projects and Deals. Each section allows you to customize emails and messages that are triggered at specific stages.
Project Journey Messages
The Projects tab includes messages related to project onboarding and completion.
Welcome Email Configuration
Customize the welcome email that is automatically sent to customers when a new project is created. This email typically introduces the onboarding process, provides access information, and shares contact details of the onboarding manager.
Project Completion Email
Configure the email that is sent when a project is marked as completed. This email can be used to share a completion summary, next steps, or feedback requests.
Customer Portal Welcome Message
Customize the welcome message displayed in the project overview section of the customer portal. This message helps customers understand how to navigate their onboarding project and access key resources.
Deal Journey Messages
The Deals tab includes communication templates related to the deal lifecycle.
Deal Room Welcome Email
Configure the email sent to customers when a new deal room is created. This email provides access to the deal room and helps initiate collaboration during the sales process.
Deal Won Email
Configure the email that is sent when a deal is marked as won or successfully closed.
Deal Lost Email
Configure the email sent when a deal is marked as lost or closed unsuccessfully.
Using Macros in Journey Messages
Journey Messages support macros, which automatically populate dynamic information in emails and messages.
Examples of commonly used macros include:
Quick Macros: {{customer_name}}, {{owner_name}}, {{project_name}}, {{project_url}}
Project Information: {{project_name}}, {{project_description}}, {{project_url}}, {{project_due_date}}
User and Contact Information: {{customer_name}}, {{owner_name}}, {{owner_email}}, {{owner_phone}}
System Links: {{login_url}}
To customize a message, select the required template, update the content using the editor, insert macros where required, and click Save to apply the changes.
Customize the email as per your requirement and click 'Save' to save the changes.
