# What We Do Projetly was born from the real-world experience of our founder, who led Product, GTM, and customer onboarding teams in his previous role. He identified a critical gap in the SaaS tools available for self-onboarding. To ensure we built the right solution, we spoke directly with customer onboarding managers across the US, gathering insights into their struggles. They highlighted the need for automation in self-onboarding while still maintaining a personal touch for clients.
